About this policy
This policy applies to the YOOY app and website. “YOOY”, “we”, and “us” refer to the service provided under the YOOY name. YOOY provides group voice rooms and online entertainment for adults aged 18 and over. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
Information used by YOOY
The information involved depends on the features you use, what you submit, and the permissions you grant.

Microphone access is used when you choose to speak. Audio and content shared in a room are available to that room’s audience. You can manage device permissions in your device settings; disabling a permission may affect the related feature.
Google Sign-In
When you choose Google Sign-In, we use information Google provides with your authorization for registration, login, and account linking. This can include a Google account identifier and, where provided, your email address, display name, or profile image. The information shared depends on your authorization and Google’s sign-in flow.
Google account information is used for these account functions. YOOY’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements. You can manage access in your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking Google access does not itself delete your YOOY account.
Use and disclosure
We use information to provide account and room features, deliver virtual items, respond to support and safety reports, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations. Where applicable, processing relies on performance of our agreement, consent, legal obligations, or legitimate service and security interests permitted by law.
Information may be processed by providers supporting the feature you use, such as authentication, voice communication, hosting, payments, and technical support. Disclosure may also be necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or handle a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations.
Processing may occur in a country other than yours. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards apply to international transfers.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it is processed. Account information supports an active account; transaction records support delivery, accounting, and disputes; support and safety records support resolution and necessary follow-up. Applicable legal retention duties may also apply.
After a verified deletion request, account-associated personal information is deleted or de-identified, except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate transaction, dispute, fraud-prevention, or safety purposes. Such retention is limited to the applicable legal period or the time reasonably needed for that purpose. Backup copies, where present, may remain until replaced through the backup cycle.
We use reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, or restriction of or objection to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing, and may complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Email [email protected] with your request and YOOY user ID, if available. We may request proportionate information to verify ownership. Requests are handled within the time required by applicable law. See Account Deletion to request deletion of an account and associated personal data.
Age requirement and updates
YOOY is for users aged 18 and over. If you believe an underage person is using YOOY or has provided personal information, contact Support. See our Child Safety Standards for safety reporting.
We may update this policy. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
